Youth-led action for climate resilience, environmental conservation, and community empowerment
The Rohingya Green Nature Society (RGNS) is a refugee youth-led, non-profit organization dedicated to creating sustainable solutions in the world's largest Rohingya refugee camp in Bangladesh and surrounding local areas.
Raising critical awareness on pressing environmental and humanitarian challenges within the Rohingya refugee camps.
Our awareness campaigns address deforestation, climate change, hygiene practices, and human rights issues through community workshops, door-to-door outreach, and educational materials distribution. We have reached over 10,000 community members through our awareness initiatives.
A vital initiative to combat deforestation, enhance biodiversity, and strengthen environmental resilience.
Since 2020, we have planted over 5,000 native trees across camp areas, created green spaces, and trained community members in tree care and nursery management. Each tree planted represents our commitment to a greener future.
A proactive disaster preparedness effort to safeguard Rohingya refugees from deadly landslides.
We have established early warning systems, trained community volunteers, and created evacuation plans for high-risk areas prone to landslides during monsoon seasons, protecting over 5,000 vulnerable residents.
A dedicated force defending Rohingya rights and amplifying voices for justice and human dignity.
Our advocacy team engages with humanitarian agencies, documents human rights concerns, and represents Rohingya voices in local and international forums, ensuring that the Rohingya perspective is heard and respected.
We engage Rohingya youth and girls, providing leadership training and capacity-building workshops.
We work closely with community leaders and local stakeholders for inclusive solutions.
Our partnerships strengthen impact for long-term solutions in food security and climate action.
